Worth weighing

4 to weigh
  • Limited check-in window — Check-in is only between 14:00 and 18:00, which may be restrictive if you arrive later in the evening.
  • Some rooms lack soundproofing — A guest noted that rooms, while spacious and modern, are not soundproof, so noise from adjacent rooms or the street may be heard.
  • Simple breakfast — Breakfast is described as simple — though served early — with items like croissants, bread, and cheese. It's adequate rather than elaborate.
  • Mixed overall rating — With an overall rating of 6.9 out of 10 and an area average of 8.8, this hotel may not meet everyone's expectations, even though individual reviews are largely positive.

“Quaint rooms with antique furnishings and a good-sized shower and tub. If you're seeing a tango show you get a discount and you're only steps from your room. Excellent breakfast and free internet.”

“Full of character with high ceilings, wood furnishings, and tango decor. The room was well equipped, including a better shower than we have at home. Staff were unfailingly helpful, many spoke good English, and they assisted with directions, translation, and bag storage. Free internet available.”

6.9Verified guest

“Friendly and helpful staff. We loved having dinner and the tango show right in the hotel — saw the show twice, it was excellent. The dance lessons were really useful; we learned a lot and even got selected to dance on stage. Dinner was good, but portions are large. Close to a subway line, so even though it was a bit from the main tourist area, it was easy to get around.”

6.9Verified guest

“Conveniently located near a subway station, two stops from Corrientes Avenue. Rooms are spacious with unique themes. Bathrooms clean and modern with good showers. Staff friendly and helpful with faxes, directions, and bag storage. Breakfast simple but adequate — croissants, bread, cheese. Free internet and tango lesson/dinner/show available.”
